Good Morning Mackademics,
Just a quick one to say I’m writing fiction again, in short stints, and I’m planning on doing some recording later, although there may be a hijacking to do yard work at Mom’s.
Have a great day.
Eddie.
I wish I could get these links to allow responses.
Roughly three weeks before Etcetera Thesis releases The Whole Other Half, the double length sequel to Last year’s Bisecting a Circumference. I hope you folks are looking forward to hearing what we’ve been doing here in Studio Limbo. I feel like I’m giving birth to a baby monster or something. Don’t be afraid to show us some love, folks.
Here’s another little taste of things to come: I’M GONE AGAIN
Happy Mother’s Day.
Lee.
I’m Gone Again - new release from the upcoming album, The Whole Other Half, by Etcetera Thesis.
This is undoubtedly one of the most important pieces I have ever created, and I still own it. The prints, tee shirts and stuff are just a nice way for me to commemorate this piece, which I’ve had for more than half of my life. I AM, however, prepared to part with it now. What I’m asking is a measly $300.00 CAD. I say measly because, to my way of thinking, which involves what work like this is going for in galleries, I should be charging closer to a grand.
PayPal preferred. Shipping and handling costs and any mounting or special packaging must be added to the total cost. I simply don’t have the funds right now to eat the expenses.
Thank you for reading. Pimp me out to your friends if you can’t buy it yourself. And remember, those prints and such are going to be around a long time, but this is an original, unrepeatable piece of work. I will never offer it at this price again.
Lee.
Good Afternoon, Mackronauts:
I just got through lugging four large grocery bags’ worth of gently used books to the Hamilton Literacy Council’s Books Sale with my agent.
Earlier, I rearranged the order of the album again. Took out some stuff and put some other stuff in that won’t take as long to finish. Trying to stack the deck with stuff that sounds more like my main influences, and not so much with the eclectic mix. Might cut one or two more pieces, depending on my mood and my productivity levels over the next few weeks. We’ll see.
I’ve posted a few images so far over the last couple of days, and haven’t had a single offer. You DO know I expect to haggle prices, right? Or is it just that you don’t buy art from non-famous people? Would it help if I told you I have readers all over the world? Dozens of them! ;)
I should have made soup for my agent.
I want to make music, but suspect that will get me looked at funny. There’s stuff to be done. Important stuff. Much more important than my stupid album.
Gary doesn’t like my treatment of Dinner Date. Suits me fine. I don’t think I’d like his treatment, either. The song is important to me, but it’s also long and dull, because it needs virtuoso performances to carry it off. I haven’t supplied said performances, but I’ve planned for them, and the demo I recorded at least gives you a hint. He says it’s too busy. He thinks it should be simple little song. A simple little 8-minute love dirge. I love my Gary, but he can get stuffed.
That’s all I’ve got. I should post more art to sell, but I’m starting to lose hope of making the remainder of the rent money before the cut-off date.
Time to go. Take care. Thanks for reading. Feed your Spambots.
Eddie.
I’m holding an art sale to pay the rent. Would you put this page on your wall?

Good Afternoon Macketeers!
This design incorporates an old corporate mascot I designed that I still, oddly enough, own the rights to, because the client refused to pay for the rights. He’s out of business now, so I guess it’s about time I put Dapper Dan to work. He made this Martini just for you. Sorry, no olives or onions available at the moment. Perhaps if you buy one, I’ll have him mix you another drink.
The original artwork for this piece is in three parts, but I’d be willing to sell the original drawings for $200.00 CAD.
Make me an offer. I’m eager to please.
Eddie.
This illustration, which appeared only vaguely in the Link:West RPG manual, is of a spectacular airship made from wicker and raffia, to reduce the weight while retaining some flotation in case of landing on water. The airship was created to explore Darkest Pangeia, where tribes of savage Darklings are said to rule. The balloon, shaped partially like a sale to catch wind and steer like a traditional sail ship, is adorned with an idealized image of the Trine Goddess.
This illustration is rendered on acid-free sketchbook paper in pencil and ink, with some signs of white out pen used. The illustration is approximately 10.5” squared.
My asking price for this fine illustration is $250.00 CAD, plus shipping and handling. Mounting will cost slightly more.

This little darling was drawn back in 2003 as an asset for the roleplaying manual, Link: West. I’m not sure it was ever actually used; it’s been a while since I went through the manual to see what was and wasn’t printed. Britannia is obviously the spirit of the British Isles, referred to in the Link Euroboros section as the Sacred Isles (IIRC). However, said spirit was actually a real, living creature, comprised of three important women: Breanna, Ætillan high sourceress of Avalonis; Angela, huntress of the Sisterhood of Breanna; and Regina Moiraine, ruler of Londonis and the Sacred Isles. By the time of our story, most of the high sourcerors had gone into exile, but Breanna had remained behind to preserve and guide her people in times of great need.
This piece of art is a pencil drawing on acid-free (to the best of my knowledge) sketchbook paper. It’s one of the two finest pieces of art I created for the Link: West book. Its dimensions are approximately 8.5”x10.5”, though the 11”x14” sketchbook page remains uncut, and there is some light doodling to one side of the drawing.
My asking price for this rather fine piece of illustration is $150.00 CAD, plus shipping and handling. Mounting will cost a little extra.

I’ll be back shortly with another piece to sell.
